Overview
Petals & Peak is a tea café project by Skai Atelier located in Chijmes, Singapore. Conceived as a calm retreat for tea lovers, the space blends soft forms, muted tones, and natural materials into an atmosphere that feels refined, welcoming, and restorative.
As a cafe interior designer and F&B interior designer, Skai Atelier designed the space to support both customer experience and functional café workflow — encouraging guests to slow down, enjoy the ritual of tea, and connect with the space in a meaningful way.
Design Concept
The design concept draws inspiration from the gentle flow of nature: soft arches, muted tones, organic forms, a pastel blue counter and shelving, natural oak, warm white tones, and indoor greenery define the café's visual identity. Arched niches and recessed window seating frame cosy corners for small gatherings, while the material palette gives the café a soft, calming presence suited to a slower, more reflective tea-drinking experience.

F&B interior design strategy
For this commercial F&B renovation, the design strategy centres on three things: customer flow, atmosphere, and brand storytelling. The counter is the focal point of the café, while the seating layout balances openness with privacy — supporting calm ambience for slow conversations and reflection.
