Y Dessert Woodlands is a dessert café concept designed by Skai Atelier as part of a commercial F&B renovation project in Singapore. The space was envisioned as a welcoming neighbourhood destination where customers can gather to enjoy desserts in a relaxed and comfortable setting.
As F&B interior designers in Singapore, our goal was to balance visual identity with practical café operations. Through thoughtful spatial planning, lighting design, and material selection, the interior supports both customer experience and efficient service workflow — showing how well-executed café renovation can transform a compact commercial unit into a vibrant dessert destination.
Design Concept
The concept creates a lively yet comfortable environment reflecting the playful, social nature of dessert culture. Soft lighting, carefully selected finishes, and a clean spatial layout contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, with a modern and approachable palette that lets the café's branding and dessert presentation stand out.

Our commercial F&B renovation strategy organised the space into clear zones for ordering, preparation, and seating. The service counter becomes a focal point while maintaining efficient staff circulation behind it, and lighting was integrated to highlight the dessert display and create a comfortable dining atmosphere.
